Hi, I was just going through some of the past years of comp.compilers and
I saw a number of references to the PL.8 compiler developed at IBM.
Is there a case study or any papers written about the compiler that
go through its structure?

[I recall some papers in one of the IBM journals describing some of the
techniques, but I've never seen much description of the compiler per se.
Is there perhaps is a Watson tech report? -John]
