There was (is ?) a companion package to the 'Small-C' compiler
called the Small Assembler (?) Written by a guy called JE Hendrix.
This was available with source from Dr Dobbs. (US 415 358 9500)
It produces .OBJ modules, so may be some help.
There was also a DOS linker called VAL which shows quite a bit
about .OBJ modules.
