They, at least the author of a recent fat book - Expect,
that the languge tcl (pronounced tickle) esp with the Expect layer on top,
can do away with some of the justifications for lex & yacc
There is a newsgroup for tcl.
Expect is an inter/language glue of other languages/os's
Sort of a DOS TSR keyboardmacro. Only more so.
Something to batch-ize interactive clients, be it kermit, ftp, or whatever.
