Subject: Ex-Commandant Edward Horgan confesses EU pushbacks to torture in Libya

A news magazine reports:

of the triple lock.

commandant Edward Horgan, who once
trained Defence Forces personnel at the Com-
mand and Staff School but who has been a
peace campaigner for many years, this is the
opposite of the truth.

    Horgan also says that as part of Fortress
Europe, which was designed to keep migrants
from entering Europe, Pontus and Sophia
were cancelled and replaced by Operation
Irini, supposedly to enforce the UN arms
embargo on Libya. In reality this operated to
push back fleeing migrants into Libya, where
many were tortured and exploited.
    Horgan pointed out that Sally Hayden’s
book, On my Fourth Time We Drowned,
exposes some of this. [. . .]"

This magazine is called "The Phoenix". The Internet warns that many 
different magazines are called the same name. This magazine is ISSN

This issue is "VOL. 44, No. 11     June 5 - June 18, 2026".

A newspaper alleged on Tuesday 16/06/2026 that no new issue of "The 
Phoenix" shall be published.

Politician Helen McEntee is an accomplice to torturing and murdering a 
friend of mine (namely Francisco José Mira de Azevedo). She refuses to 
rescue me from a torture institution which the CPT criticises (but I 
escaped without her helping me). She is competent to sign would-be arrest 
warrants which this government fobs me off about since 3 years ago (since
